A man has been killed and another charged with manslaughter, after a firearm discharged at a Bundella property overnight.
Police were told a 41-year-old man took out a rifle to clean it, when a round was fired and hit the 23-year-old victim.
Sadly, he died at the scene.
The older man was then taken to Quirindi Police Station and charged with manslaughter.
He was refused bail to face Tamworth Local Court on Friday.
