This year the competition attracted 230 entries from local and interstate artists across a range of mediums.
The major prize of $5000 was awarded to local sculptor John van der Kolk for his piece titled Icarus, last night.
The 3D award was taken out by Humphrey O’Donoghue for his Flame of Passion.
Judges praised the standard of the exhibition and to the delight of many of the contributing artists there were several pieces sold to art lovers last night.
