A 16-year-old boy is recovering in Lismore Base Hospital after being airlifted from Minnie Water, west of Grafton, with suspected spinal injuries.
The boy was bodyboarding when he was dumped by a large wave this afternoon
Emergency services were called when the teenager complained about the loss of feeling in his legs.
His condition is now listed as stable.
