On a day many beaches were closed, several locals wished the Pro Junior surf event at Anna Bay’s One Mile Beach was called off too.
Merewether’s Wes Bainbridge and Mitch Noonan were both eliminated on day two as was Phillipa Anderson, as storm driven surf tossed up some big waves and even bigger scores.
