Former national champion Sam Laguzza has taken out another Mattara Open Singles event.
Bar Beach’s Stuart Clarke claimed the restricted singles prize, while Laguzza produced an impressive comeback to beat Merewether’s Kelly Strong.
Strong led 8-1, but Laguzza found his range by the 11th end, picking up nine shots over the next three ends.
In the restricted event, Clarke led all the way, finishing 15 shots in front of Adamstown’s Claude Pendlebury.
