Orara Valley is tonight celebrating a Group 2 league minor premiership.
The Axemen thrashed Dunghutti 98-12 in this afternoon’s final round of the season to finish top of the table.
The big result of the round saw joint leaders Woolgoolga go down to Macksville 50-22 in one of the upsets of the season.
It proved a costly loss for the seahorses who were equal first with Orara Valley before the match.
Meanwhile Bellingen has missed out on the play-offs after losing to Coffs Harbour today 58-28.
That result sees Sawtell through to the five team final series.
The panthers travel to Port Macquarie next weekend for the sudden death final.
Woolgoolga hosts Dunghutti in the qualifying final, while Orara enjoys the week off.
