BOOK RAISING MONEY TO HELP THE HOMELESS

It’s been a busy day for the New South Wales Governor, who also helped launch a book, raising money to help the homeless.

“My Connections Home” features real accounts of lives lived on the streets.

It includes the emotional journeys of nine Hunter people, and their resilience and courage in finally overcoming homelessness.

Funds raised from the book will go to towards the next Homeless Connect Day, which offers medical support, housing and financial advice.
