Construction of the $245-million Pacific Highway upgrade at Bonville is a step closer to completion with resurfacing work on the southbound Lyons Road on-ramp set down for next Tuesday.
Alternate access to the highway will be via the Sawtell Road interchange.
The 10-kilometre section of dual carriageway, which has 19 bridges, also includes a number of over and under passes for wildlife.
