A man has been arrested following a high speed pursuit on the Pacific Highway this afternoon.
The chase began in Urunga, and the man allegedly reached speeds of up to 190 kilometres per hour.
Police say he led them to Coffs Harbour, where he turned into a dead end street, abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot.
He was captured minutes later and taken to the local police station, where he is assisting officers with their enquiries.
