A Sunday afternoon motorbike ride at Beechmont became a desperate rescue mission, when a rider plunged over the edge of a five metre embankment.
65 year old John White had been travelling with two friends, when he disappeared down the cliff.
His mates helped ambulance officers and fire fighters slowly drag him back to the road.
“Beechmont Road is quite renowned for motor vehicle accidents especially motorbike accidents, so we are asking everyone to err on the side of caution”
Somehow, Mir White avoided serious injury.. He’s now stable in Gold Coast Hospital.
