Opposition over Newcastle’s proposed fourth coal terminal cranked up a notch today, as one thousand people rallied through Newcastle’s inner-city streets.
Proponents – Port Waratah Coal Services says the expansion will meet the region’s long-term needs, but protesters say they’re being selfish.

These fossil industries the politicians and the scaredy cat watch dogs, show no duty of care towatds protecting the health & environment of the people of the Hunter & surrounding region.
