PILOT UNINJURED AFTER NORTH WEST LIGHT PLANE CRASH

A 75-year-old pilot and his passenger have walked away unharmed, from a light plane crash on a rural property near Tamworth.
Emergency services were called to a paddock near Currabubula just before 1.30 this afternoon to find the plane on its roof.
It’s believed the aircraft, which is used for crop-dusting, struck strong winds whilst landing on a rural airstrip.
