PILOT WALKS AWAY FROM CENTRAL COAST PLANE CRASH

The pilot of a light aircraft has walked away with just a scratch, after crash landing on the Central Coast.
It’s understood the man had been preparing to land at Warnervale Airport, when his plane’s engine failed.
He managed to land the aircraft heavily in a nearby field, narrowly missing horses and a shed containing a helicopter and cans of fuel.
A full investigation into the incident is underway.
