Anyone planning on taking a dip in Newcastle’s famous Bogey Hole this summer will have to wait until 2016.
The historic pool was closed on Friday, following concerns that the overhanging cliff may be unstable.
The Department of Primary Industries is investigating geotechnics and says the spot is likely to stay closed until the new year.
