Gold Coaster Adam Gordon has, taken out the final Kingscliff Triathlon of the year in a landslide victory.
Minutes ahead of Brandon Copeland and Kane Richards.
Gordon used the event as training for an ironman event in Western Australia in a fortnight.
While in the women’s traithlon veteran Courtney Gilfillan took the win.
“My theory was just to go as fast as I can and race on courage. And it worked!”
“I felt really strong out in the bike. Had a quick bike and really strong in the run. It’s quite a challenging run course out there.”
Elite competitors used the event as a course trial for the national qualifiers at Kingscliff next March.
